Job Title: Social Media Specialist Intern

Position Summary:
MacBean Communications is seeking a creative and driven Social Media Specialist Intern. This role is ideal for a college junior, senior, or graduate student passionate about social media and digital marketing. This internship offers the chance to manage and grow the social media presence of an innovative communications firm.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage content for MacBean’s social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness
- Monitor and respond to social media interactions
- Utilize content management programs to schedule and track posts
- Design visually appealing graphics and multimedia content
- Stay current on the latest social media trends and best practices
- Write engaging and creative copy for social media posts
- Use MailChimp or Constant Contact for email marketing campaigns
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a college junior, senior, or graduate student
- Minimum GPA of 3.6
- Student leadership experience
- Demonstrable experience with all major social media platforms
- Experience with content management programs
- Familiarity with MailChimp or Constant Contact
- Strong writing skills and creativity
- Some graphic design experience with Canva or Adobe Photoshop
- Up-to-date on the latest social media trends with a sense of business savvy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
