Hours: 20-25 hours per week

Position Summary:

MacBean Communications is seeking an organized and motivated Manager Intern. This role is ideal for a college senior or graduate student majoring in management or business. This internship offers the chance to gain valuable experience in project management and team coordination within a leading communications firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate multiple interns and employees at MacBean Communications
  • Coordinate efforts for project management to ensure all project objectives are achieved on time and on budget
  • Oversee the work of three to four team members
  • Communicate effectively with team members and executive leadership to ensure alignment on goals and objectives
  • Utilize project management tools and techniques to track progress and address any issues
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Ensure all team members are aligned with the company’s mission and values

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a college senior, or graduate student majoring in management or business
  • Minimum GPA of 3.6
  • Student leadership experience
  • Prior work history in management including experience managing groups and teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with project management tools, such as Basecamp, and techniques
