Named Chief Executive Officer of Boston Media Company
July 3rd – MacBean Communications names advertising pro and entrepreneur Jake Silva as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Longtime advertising executive, entrepreneur, and author Jake Silva will take the helm at MacBean Communications in Boston, Massachusetts. Silva, who previously founded and led four other businesses is tasked with developing the media company’s strategic plan across all brands.
“The current business landscape is changing rapidly. Not since the 1970s has our economy faced the level of disruption the adoption of artificial intelligence is about to create. Both for MacBean Communications and our clients, we need to be prepared to lead as these changes occur,” Silva said upon announcing his hire.
Specifically, Silva stated his intention to introduce AI automation into every product and service offered through MacBean Communication’s five leading brands: bellows | boston, Cell 6 Collective, MacBean Publishing, Pathway 2 Purpose, and the Livin’ the Dream Prison Blog. Silva also hinted at a significant investment in augmented and virtual reality integration.
“Knowledge automation will happen. We can best serve ourselves and our clients by identifying the technologies of tomorrow and developing solutions to bring those technologies to a reality today,” said Silva.
